Chennai, July 24 (UNI) MSE index improved by 25.80 points and closed at 5155.84 points today.

Following are the opening and closing rates of scrips traded: Apollo Tyre 242.10, Ashok leyland 31.40, Bimetal 217, Dabur India 132.40, EID 175, Hindustan Lever 229.45, NIIT 350, Rolta 158.40, Tata Tea 730.05, Zee Tele 246.25.
