Monsoon activity subdue in MP
Bhopal, July 24 (UNI) Although monsoonal activity reduced in Madhya Pradesh, moderate to heavy rainfall lashed some parts of the state.
The weather in the state capital became pleasant courtsey showers along with intermittent sunshine this morning. The state capital has recorded 276 mm rainfall so far, 157 mm less than average rainfall during the period.
Meteorological department said moisture-laden winds was bringing rainfall in the state. The department predicted showers accompanied with lightning in all divisions in the next 24 hours.
Several parts in Jabalpur and Hoshangabad divisions and some parts in Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Chambal, Rewa and Sagar received rainfall overnight.
Meanwhile, Harda received a rainfall of eight cm, while a rainfall of three cm each was recorded at Mandala, Malajkhand and Sheopur and of two cm rainfall was registered at Balaghat.
