Manipal Acunova awarded ISO Certification

Chennai, July 24 (UNI) Manipal AcuNova Limited, a leading player in biotechnology and clinical research, has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 certification.

The certification was awarded by Underwriter Laboratories India private limited.

Manipal AcuNova is the first contract research organisation in the country to be awarded this recognition for adhering to all the mandates of business processesas mandated in the scope of registration, a company release said today.

The scope of registration covered Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management, Bio Availability, Bio Equivalence, Central Reference Laboratory and support services.

The certificate was formally handed over to Dr Ramdas Pai, Chairman, Manipal Group in the presence of Mr D A Prasanna, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Manipal Acunova ltd, by Mr Venkitachalam, Managing Director, Underwriter Laboratories India Private Ltd.
