Lok Sabha lauds rescuers of 'Prince'
New Delhi, July 24 (UNI) The Lok Sabha today expressed happiness at the rescue of Prince, a five-year-old boy, who was trapped in a 60-foot well at Kurukshetra for over 50 hours and lauded the Armed Forces and others who had successfully accomplished the job.
Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee read out the statement on the behalf of the House, saying ''all of you will join me in conveying our best wishes to him and particularly in congratulating our Armed Forces and the officers and men of the Maharashtra Fire Department for the excellent and successful efforts they made to rescue the child.'' ''They have maintained the highest tradition of our Army and we are proud of them,'' he added.
