Jindal Stainless Q1 net down 23.16 pc

Mumbai, July 24: Jindal Stainless has posted a net profit after tax of Rs 50.79 crore for the quarter ended June 30, as compared to Rs 66.10 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal, a decline of 23.16 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has decreased from Rs 860.25 crore in Q1 FY-06 to Rs 859.82 crore for Q1 FY-07.
