Jaiprakash Associates' quarterly net profit falls by 77.7%

New Delhi, July 24 (UNI) Jaiprakash Associates Ltd today recorded 77.7 per cent fall in its net profit for quarter ended June 30, 2006, as against Rs 414 crore during same period last fiscal.

The total income of the company, including Profit on Sale of Shares of Jaiprakash Hydro Power Ltd (JHPL), for this quarter also decreased to Rs 920 crore, from Rs 1215 crore in FY06, a company statement said.
