New Delhi, July 24 (UNI) Harveen Srao became the only fifth Indian ever to win an individual medal in the World Championships after she bagged a Bronze in the junior women's section while the junior men's team also claimed a Bronze in the 10m Air Pistol event of the tournament being held at Zagreb, Croatia.

The seniors, however, got off to a poor start with Samresh Jung finishing 31st in the 10m Air Pistol event. The Commonwealth Games multiple Gold medallist shot a score of 576 (96,96,98,96,95,95) for a disappointing start to his campaign.

Meanwhile, Harveen won the Bronze after shooting a score of 382 with a series of 91,94,99 and 98 to become the fifth Indian shooter so far to win an individual medal at the World Championships.
