Escorts stages turnaround with Rs 1.57 cr net profit

New Delhi, July 24 (UNI) Escorts Ltd today staged a turnaround in its net profit at Rs 1.57 crore for the third quarter ended June 30, 2006 as compared to loss after tax of Rs 57.38 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

The company's total income increased to Rs 478.5 crore for Q3FY07, up by per cent, from Rs 245.64 crore in Q3FY06.
