Escorts Q3 net at Rs 1.57 cr

Mumbai, July 24 (UNI) Escorts Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 1.57 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to loss after tax of Rs 57.38 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005.

The company said its total income has increased from Rs 245.64 crore in June 30, 2005, to Rs 478.50 crore for June 30, 2006.
