BJP workers stage demo, ring bells in Pondy

Pondicherry, Jul 24 (UNI) Volunteers of the Bharatiya Janata Party today staged a demonstration in front of the Head Post office here to protest against the Centre's failure to curb terrorism in the country.

Led by state party president R Kesavalu, the demonstrators also ringed bells on the occasion.

Later, Mr Kesavalu told newspersons that the party demanded that the Centre take immediate steps to put an end to terrorism and the ringing of bells was to wake up the Central Government which was ''sleeping.'' UNI PAB ROY VA DS1402
