Bank of Rajasthan Q1 PAT at Rs 20.04 cr, up by 284 pc

Mumbai, July 24 (UNI) Bank of Rajasthan (BoR) has reported a net profit of Rs 20.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, a growth of 284 per cent compared with Rs 5.21 crore posted in the previous corresponding quarter.

The total income of the Bank has also increased by 19 per cent at Rs 185.28 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 155.50 crore in the previous corresponding period. The earning per share for the quarter is Rs 1.86.

Commenting on the performance of the bank BoR's Chairman Dr P K Tayal said that the commendable performance of the bank during the first quarter of this fiscal is the net result of various measures initiated by the bank.'' UNI AR MJ AW1921
