Aventis Pharma Q2 net up 28.35 pc to Rs 43.9 cr

Mumbai, July 24 (UNI) Aventis Pharma has posted a net profit of Rs 43.9 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 34.2 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, an increase of 28.35 per cent.

The company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 220.4 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2005, to Rs 231.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006. The Board of Directors has declared an Interim Dividend of Rs 3.50 per Equity share of Rs 10.
