Amarinder Singh cancels trip to Singapore
Singapore, July 24 (UNI) Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh cancelled his trip to Singapore this week and has deputed his Chief Secretary KR Lakhanpal to lead a high-level delegation.
Capt Amarinder Singh was to arrive in Singapore on 26 July for a two-day visit, during which he was to address a business seminar on ''Think India -Think Punjab: Developments and Opportunities in the State of Punjab''.
However, Mr Lakhanpal would address the seminar on 26 July, informed seminar organisers, the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The delegation, led by Mr Lakhanpal, would also include leading government bureaucrats and senior officials from the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority (PUDA) and Punjab Infotech.
