Subros new plants to start production from Oct
New Delhi, July 23: Subros, leading automotive airconditioning systems manufacturer, have completed the construction of the new plants at Manesar and Pune which will start production from October, 2006.
This will increase company's further capacity to 7.5 lakh units, a company statement said.
Meanwhile, the company registered 30 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 5.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as against Rs 4.57 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company posted 11 per cent increase in its net sales from operations to Rs 165.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 154.20 crore in the same period last year.
It sold 101343 units of AC during the first quarter ended June 30, 2006 as against 91272 units in the corressponding quarter last year.
Subros manufactures automotive airconditioning system in India with collaboration of Denso Corporation and Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation.
