SP injured in accident, one died

Umaria, MP, July 23 (UNI) A senior police officer, his wife and daughter were injured and a tractor-trolley driver killed when a car and a tractor-trolley fell from a bridge after being rammed into by a truck at Bandhavgarh National Park road in this district, police said today.

Superintendent of Police R L Prajapati, his wife and daughter were seriously injured during the incident last evening. Tractor driver Shobhe Baiga died on the spot, while some labourers were injured.

Altogether nine people were injured. All of them were hospitalised.

Collector Vijay Anand Kuril and other senior officers reached the spot. Truck driver is absconding.
