Six maoists killed in an encounter in AP

Ongole, July 23 (UNI) Six Maoists, including three women, were killed in an encounter with the police in Nallmala forest areas of Erragodupallem Mandal in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh today.

Police sources said during combing operations, a group of maoists opened fire on the police party. Police returned the fire killing six maoists on the spot.

A AK-47 rifle was recovered from the spot.
