Shotgun films' 'Mera Dil Leke Dekkho' to release on August 24

Mumbai, July 23 (UNI) Shotgun Moviies' maiden venture 'Mera Dil Leke Dekkho', presented by actor-MP Shatrughan Sinha and produced by his wife Punam S Sinha, will be released on August 24 through Sony Pictures.

''It's a non-stop merry making and laughter. It is intelligent and a 'take off' on all of us,'' Ms Sinha said in a release issued here yesterday.

Directed by Rohit Kaushik, 'Mera Dil Leke Dekkho' is a comedy of errors and a musical treat. The story, screenplay and dialogues are by Nandita Puri and Rohit Kaushik and the music has been composed by Jatin Lalit.

Speaking about her film, Ms Sinha said the story is about how Archana Bassi's [Koel Purie] arrival from London triggers off a chain of explosive events. There is chaos and the unfolding events complicate and raise suspicions: each and everyone is roped in.

Archana Bassi's [Archie] single obsession and Rahul's [Puneet Tejwani] manipulations and acts to save himself from unpleasant situations lands everyone in a soup.

Jackie Shroff, Archana Puransingh, Caran Kapoor, Premjit and Neil enact characters that become a part and parcel of the screen on-goings.

Laughter is the best medicine and you are prescribed this pill of non-stop comedy, she says.
