Project image of Vedic varsity: Governor

Tirumala, Jul 23 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur today urged the High-power Committee of the Vedic University to project the image of the Vedic university properly.

Speaking at a high-power committee meeting which he chaired, Mr Thakur appealed to the scholars and committee members to design a 'vision paper' on the vedic university in a different angle.

The governor said the vedic university was formally inaugurated yesterday and classes began from July 22.

The five member high power committee had decided to induct two vedic scholars, including ex- chancellor of R S Vidyapeeth Ramaranjan Mukherjee and Mr Joshi, Secretary to Government of India in the committee.
