Srinagar, July 23 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) president Omar Abdullah today demanded resignation of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi for his anti-Muslim policies.

Once an alliance partner in the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, the NC president alleged that Muslims in Gujarat and Mumbai are feeling insecure because of anti-muslim policies of Mr Modi.

Demanding his immediate resignation, Mr Omar said the recent speechs of Mr Modi provoked muslims.

The NC president strongly condemned the serial blasts in Mumbai and Srinagar in which more than 200 people were killed and hundreds other injured.
