Mumbai blast suspect released in Gaya
Gaya, July 23 (UNI) Police today released Mohammad Akram, detained for his alleged involvement in the Mumbai blast at Dangra village under Mohanpur police station since July 21.
Police Superintendent Amit Kumar Jain said Akram was released as no evidence of his involvenment in Mumbai blast was found during the interrogation by state police and central intelligence agencies.
He was interrogated at Rampur police station of Gaya district during his two days of detention.
Earlier, Akram, a teacher in Madarsa, was arrested as his appearance resembled with one of those whose sketches were released by police in newspapers as the suspects of Mumbai blast.
