MP rejoices as India's 'Happy Prince' rescued
Bhopal, July 23 (UNI) Even Oscar Wilde's legendary short story 'The Happy Prince' might not have gained so much popularity over the decades as five-year-old Prince from Kurukshetra district's Haldera got within 50 hours while he lay trapped in a submersible well even as millions of Indians prayed for his rescue.
As officers and men of the 65 Engineers Regiment, backed by the Indo-Tibetan Border Police and the civil and police administration, brought Prince out to safety, people in Madhya Pradesh rejoiced in front of their TV screens.
