PM dares BJP to disclose name of PMO 'mole'

New Delhi, Jul 23: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today dared the BJP to come out with the name of the 'mole', mentioned in Jaswant Singh's book, who leaked sensitive information from the PMO during then Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao's tenure.

Talking to reporters after the all-party meeting convened by the Lok Sabha Speaker, Dr Singh said the government was not afraid of any debate on the issue.

''If they have the courage, they must identify the person and not make any excuses.'' Neither are we scared of taking any action or having a debate on the issue, he told mediapersons in response to a query.

Mr Jaswant Singh, in his book 'Call for Honour', had said a mole in the PMO during the premiership of Narasimha Rao had let secret information on the country's nuclear programme pass out to an external agency.
