Leopard kills woman in Rajouri

Jammu, July 23 (UNI) A leopard killed a woman in Taryee forest of Nowshera in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

According to police, a middle-aged woman, Bimla devi, a resident of Dharyata village, went to the forest yesterday to graze her cattle. When she did not return home till late evening, a search was launched for her by the police with help of locals.

Police said the half-eaten body of the woman was found, probably mutilated by the leopard. After a post-mortem, the body was handed over to her family members.
