JVM to strengthen its base in Jharkhand districts
Ranchi, Jul 23 (UNI) Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) has decided to hold convention in various districts after receiving good response from people in eleven districts.
The party would hold its district level convention in Giridih and Bokaro soon.
JVM spokesperson Ashok Verma today said the party was planning to reach every one in the state and the leaders would start block- level meetings after finishig district-level party conventions.
Mr Verma said the BJP-led NDA government in the state is fearing JVM's popularity in state.
He said Chatra incident was a part of a conspiracy in which three ultras were arrested from the JVM's meeting.
Chatra police on July 21 arrested three ultras from JVM function which was addressed by JVM's president and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi.
