Jamiat Ulema condemns Mumbai blasts

Bhopal, July 23 (UNI) The Jamiat Ulema (Madhya Pradesh) has condemned Mumbai serial blasts and demanded strict action against the culprits.

Jamiat Ulema (MP) President Mufti Abdurrazak said a group of people with Gandhian ideology should be formed, which would travel across the country and spread awareness.

Alleging that successive governments had failed to restrain terrorism, he said people with Gandhian ideology need to come together.

He alleged that action was being taken against people belonging to a particular group and demanded that activities of organisations like the RSS, the Bajrang Dal and the Shiv Sena should also be investigated.

Regarding activities of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), he claimed that no such activities were taking place in Madhya Pradesh.

He added that a convention would be organised in the state capital on July 28 against terrorism activities across the world.

Jamiat Ulema National President Syed Arshad Madni will address the convention.
