Home Guard shot dead by colleague

Kohima, July 23 (UNI) A Home Guard, posted as personal bodyguard of former Member of Parliament Imchalemba at his residence at the Oriental Colony in Dimapur town, was shot dead by one of his colleagues yesterday.

Official sources said here today that the victim was identified as one Tongpang.

He was gunned down by one of his two colleagues, who fled away after committing the crime.

Police registered a case and investigation was on to apprehend the absconding Home Guard and to ascertain the cause of killing.
