GIL quarter 4 net sales up at Rs 44.74 crore
Hyderabad, Jul 23: Granules India Ltd (GIL) today posted 36.61 per cent rise in net sales at Rs 47.74 crore for the fourth quarter ended June 2006, compared to Rs 34.95 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The net sales during this quarter grew at 25.74 per cent by Rs 2.43 crore, compared to Rs 1.94 crore in the corresponding quarter, the company said in a release here today.
The company also recorded 42.83 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 9.52 crore as against Rs 6.62 crore last year.
GIL Chairman and Managing Director Krishna Prasad said 'we had prudently invested in plants and processes to emerge as a completely integrated and dependable pharmaceutical manufacturing outsourcing company in the pharmaceutical formulation and intended to be a preferred supplier to a large overseas formulation companies.
