CPI(Maoist) naxalite, coal smuggler arrested
Bokaro, Jul 23 (UNI) Police have arrested a hardcore CPI (Maoist) ultra from Katwa village of Jharkhand's Bokaro district.
Suprintendent of Police Manvinder Singh Bhatia today said the arrest was made last night.
The ultra identified as Daglal Mahto on earlier occasion could manage to escape during raid at Jhumra hill area in 2003 from where police recovered a huge cache of arms.
Mr Bhatia said he was a close associate of an area commander Duryodhan alias Mithilesh, now in jail, and was responsile for organising training camps for the outfit.
Meanwhile, police also arrested a coal mafia Arun Thakur from Mahuatand police station area in the district.
