Indian's body to reach from Lebanon on Jul 24

New Delhi, Jul 23: The body of Indian Debesh Kumar Swain, who died in South Lebanon, will be brought to Delhi tomorrow morning while the ships carrying 900 Indian evacuees would reach Mumbai/Chennai by tomorrow evening.

An official spokesman said here today that the body of Swain is being brought to Delhi by Flight No RB 501 of Syrian Airways at 0700hrs tomorrow and then would be taken to Bhubaneswar.

The ships carrying the evacuee Indian Nationals, around 900, are expected to reach Cyprus in the early hours tomorrow and thereafter two aircrafts are to carry these evacuees to Chennai/ Mumbai and are expected to reach there by tomorrow evening.

Minister for Overseas Indian Affairs Vayalar Ravi is constantly reviewing the evacuation operation. The ministry is operating 24X7 Control Room which can be reached at the following Telephone numbers 26874250/24197972 and fax no 24197984.
