BJP to raise internal security issue in Monsoon Session

Jalandhar, July 23 (UNI) The issues of Indo-US nuclear deal, rising prices of essential commodities and lapses of internal security will be raised in the Monsoon Session of Parliament beginning tomorrow, BJP President Rajnath Singh said here today.

Talking to reporters, Mr Singh said these problems are of vital importance for the nation and his party would like to express its views and concern over these issues on the floor of the House.

He said BJP was concerned over the recent alarming reports of lapses on internal security and intrusion of miscreants and anti- national elements in vital defence and security institutions.

''Rising prices of essential commodities is the issue which had left the people worried and the government had failed to arrest price rise,'' he added.

Mr Singh is in the city to participate in today's Hind Samachar Group's Shaheed Parivar Fund function.
