BJP to organise 'ghantanatham' on July 24
Hyderabad, July 23 (UNI) BJP state President N Indrasena Reddy today said the party would organise 'ghantanatham' (ringing the bells) programme as part of nation wide protest against the recent price hike of necessary commodities tomorrow.
Speaking to newspersons here, he said the BJP activists and leaders would participate in the novel protest organised at Abids from 1100 hrs to 1130 hrs. The aim its to wake up the government by ringing the bells and inform the state governments that the common people were not able to afford necessary goods in the Congress led UPA government's rule.
Referring to the recent auction of lands in the city, he alleged that the Chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy was taking decisions in favour of the realtors who were displacing the poor from their lands while skyrocketing the land values.
