Assailants in retired UP IAS murder case arrested in Lucknow

Lucknow, July 23 (UNI) Five persons, including three women, were today arrested in connection with the murder of a retired IAS officer Ramesh Chandra Rastogi from the Uttar Pradesh capitall's Gazipur police station area.

Senior Superintendent of Police G K Goswami said late Ramesh Rastogi's domestic help Dilip Kumar, maids Puja, Aarti, Ritu and another man Jitendra were arrested.

On interrogation, the five said on the intervening night of July 21-22, they killed Mr Rastogi as the two maids, Aarti and Ritu, complained that he used to ''behave indecently'' with them, he added Mr Rastogi's son lives in France with his family.
