AP Governor leaves for Hyderabad
Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh July 23(UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur, who was on a two-day visit to the temple town left for Hyderabad by Indian Airlines flight this evening.
Mr Thakur was seen off at the Renigunta airport among others by District Collector S S Rawat and Superintendent of Police V Gopalakrishna, Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer APVN Sarma.
The Governor had inaugurated Sri Venkateswara Vedic University( SVVU) at Dharmagiri in tirumala hills yesterday. He also declared open the administrative block for the University at the purandaradasa complex in Tirupathi.
Mr Thakur today met the high-power committee members and scholars at annmayya bhavan in Tirumala and discussed various issues relating to the new Vedic University, including designing of the syllabus, recognition of the University and Faculties UNI KNR KVV 1830
