250 kg explosive recovered in South Kashmir

Srinagar, July 23 (UNI) Security forces unearthed a hideout and recovered 250 Kg of explosive in South Kashmir this afternoon, official sources said.

They said security forces and Jammu and Kashmir police launched a search operation at Srigoffara in Anantnag district following information about the explosive.

After a long search in the area, security forces finally unearthed the hideout and recovered the explosive in bags.

However, no one was arrested, sources said and added the explosive material was enough to make more then 30 bombs which could have caused damage to life and property.
