24-hr Lok Sabha channel starts on July 24
New Delhi, July 23: Lok Sabha's 24-hour news channel, the first of its kind in the world, will be broadcast from tomorrow, sources from the lower house of Parliament said today.
The channel will start by telecasting the proceedings of the first-day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament at 0800 hrs.
The channel, a brain-child of Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee will also programme interviews, Parliament news, information on important issues and other interesting shows.
The Channel had successfully conducted a preview in the last session of Parliament.
