Cabinet for readoption of Office of Profit Bill

New Delhi, July 22: The Cabinet today decided to move a motion in both Houses of Parliament appealing to members to reconsider the Office of Profit Bill in the same form as it was passed earlier.

Briefing reporters after the Cabinet meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi said the motion was most likely to be moved in the Rajya Sabha on July 25 as the House was expected to be adjourned without transacting any business on July 24 after paying homage to former Union Minister Pramod Mahajan.
