Indian restores 50% subsidy on perishables from Kashmir
Srinagar, July 21 (UNI) State-owned domestic airline Indian has restored 50 per cent air freight subsidy on cut flowers and other perishables on the Srinagar-Delhi sector.
The airline had withdrawn the subsidy from June 18, 2006.
An airline official said these special commodity rates of Rs 15.35 per kg will be applicable from July 20, 2006.
State Minister for Agriculture production Abdul Azaz Zargar had taken up the matter with Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel.
Besides, the Cut Flowers Grower Association sought intervention from Union Minister for Water Resources Saif-ud-Din Soz.
