CREDAI to woo NRIs for investment via exhibition series in US
New Delhi, July 20 (UNI) Seeking investments from the NRIs, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association of India (CREDAI) is organising a series of exhibition ''India Property 2006'' in the United States, in association Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry (MCHI).
The Indian Americans have a growing need to buy and invest in India as they believe that real estate in India is safe, economic economical investment.
''NRI constitutes a considerable percentage of the population in the US. NRI today are one of the most powerful and affluent class in the global economic scenario and we are glad to provide these interactive plateforms, through our exhibitions that will help them invest in Real Estate in India,'' CREDAI President Ramani Sastri said.
''Indian real estate is now catching the attention of global investors as it holds the safest and assured return for investors and NRIs,'' he added.
The series of exhibitions, of two days each, will start from August 26 at Edison in New Jersey, followed by Chicago in Illowa on August 30 and San Jose in California from September 3, 2006, CREDAI, the apex body representing associations of real state and housing developers from all over India, said in a statement.
