KR to run spl trains for Ganpapti fest on Ahmedabad-Madgaon route
Mumbai, July 19 (UNI) The Konkan Railway (KR) has decided to run three special trains on Ahmedabad-Madgaon-Ahmedabad route to clear the heightened rush of passengers during the forthcoming Ganpati festival.
Accordingly, 0909 Ahmedabad-Madgaon special train will leave from Ahmedabad at 1540 hrs on August 26, September two and nine, arriving at Madgaon at 1700 hrs next day. On its return journey, it would leave Madgaon at 1740 hrs on August 27, September three and ten.
The trains will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Valsad, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilvade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhawadi, Nandgaon, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali.
KR sources said that in addition to three special trains, there will be 32 special trains running between Dadar and Madgaon for Ganpati festival.
