Prisoner dies in hospital owing to illness

Visakhapatnam, July 14 (UNI) The Jail Superintendent B Sunil Kumar today said the jail prisoner B Srinivasa Rao (46), who was earlier convicted in a road accident case, died at King George Hospital(KGH) here last night.

Mr Kumar said the prisoner was undergoing treatment for malaria, cardiac and respiratory complications.

The deceased was sentenced to four month imprisonment due to reckless driving, he added.
