Peace process must continue with India, says Pakistan
Islamabad, July 14 (UNI) Pakistan today said recent bomb blasts in India will not ''discourage'' the peace process between the two countries and termed the allegations made against Pakistan as ''unsubstantiated''.
Reacting to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's remarks, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Tasneem Aslam said, ''Peace process between Paksitan and India is a separate matter. It is in the interest of both Pakistan and India as well as the region. That is why, we beleive that this process must be continued and carried forward.'' She reiterated that Mumbai blasts were barbaric acts of terrorism which Pakistan had strongly and unequoviacally condemned.
The Pakistan President has also reaffirmed the offer to help India with the investigation, if required on the basis of specific information, she added.
''Terrorism is a phenonmnne which effects almost every coutnry of the world, surely this affilicts all the coutnries of the South Asia,'' she stated.
