Demanding a re-examination of the HPCPMT, following allegations of irregularities in the entrance test, he said HP University Vice Chancellor and Controller of Examinations (COE) should be sacked forthwith, and cases registered against them besides holding a re-examination to provide justice to the deserving candidates.
The government should have ordered a re-examination, after it became public that students who had been awarded compartment in the 10 plus two school examination, made it in the merit list of the CPMT at the expense of deserving candidates.
Accusing the state government and the University authorities of trying to suppress the issue even though the matter was highlighted by the people, opposition and the media, he said the government should have ordered a re-examination rather than hushing up the issue.
