Suspect in theft case attempts suicide in police station

Medak, Andhra Pradesh Jul 13 (UNI) A suspect in robbery and theft cases today attempted to end his life by consuming poison in the police station. However, the police admitted him to a hospital where he was stated to be out of danger.

Police said Krishna is the resident of Siddapur village in Kondapur mandal in this district. In all 12 cases of robbery were registered against him. Recently, in the Patencheru police station limits, three thefts were reported in a week.

Krishna, took the extreme step much to the surprise of everybody, police added.
