Class room activities to be beamed live to Ranchi Univ authorities

Ranchi, Jul 13 (UNI) The class room activities in the colleges and the post graduate departments of Ranchi University will not go unnoticed from the hawk's eyes of the university authorities anymore.

Every class will be beamed live to the offices of college head and university bosses, a project that is scheduled to materialise within ten months.

Vice-Chancellor A A Khan stated this at a programme on the occasion of the 47th foundation day of the university yesterday and hoped that the project would be completed within the stipulated time.

Whatsoever the technique adopted to keep tab of errant students or irregular teachers, the VC urged the teachers to remain focussed on job. He said the teachers were required to update themselves with the latest research works.

He felt that the state of vocational courses in the colleges and the university was not up to the mark adding regular faculty should get more priority.

While stressing on the vocational courses, the VC drew the audience' attention to the importance basic education.

He announced that the university would soon open institute of applied science and institute of basic science.
