Western culture root cause of country's problems: K S Sudarshan
Bhopal, July 9 (UNI) RSS Sarsanghchalak K S Sudarshan today said the root cause of all problems in the country could be traced to adopting of western culture which could be eliminated by utilising our potential.
''In order to solve the problems spread across the country as a result of embracing western culture, full utilisation of spiritual knowledge in the country has to be made,'' said Mr Sudarshan, while addressing a seminar 'Challenges before India' organised on the occasion of birth centenary celebrations of Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar.
He said the country faced several serious problems, including poverty, starvation, economic disparities, political and caste-based enmity and 'loot' from multinational companies. It was necessary to go to the root cause of these problems.
''The tendency to forget our own glory came into Hindu society during British rule. The need of the hour is to become free from it,'' he said.
A solution could be found out by remembering our past glory, looking at our present pain and reflecting upon our future.
Elaborating upon Guru Golwalkar's policies, Mr Sudarshan said he participated in agitations started by Mahatma Gandhi and Bal Gangadhar Tilak against the British policy to divide the country and destroy the decentralised structure of the country since the Vedic ages.
