Police spoil a loot plan in Ahmedabad city, nab six

Ahmedabad, July 9 (UNI) A Gujarat police party today nabbed six miscreants, who were planning to carry out a loot in the city near Chandola Lake under Dani Limda police station area.

Two of their accomplices--Mohd Tempo and Nasid Bajro--managed to flee in a Indica car.

Acting on a tip-off, a patrol party swooped on these men who had gathered near the lake to draw up their plan. The arrested are Jeetendra alias Dhoklo, Viren Kumar, Anil, Mehmood alias Peter, Rawal Manoj Ratilal and Sandeep Soni.

Three motorcycles and few cartridges were recovered from them.

All the six are history-sheeters and have cases of loot registered against them. The motorcyles and the car are stolen ones too, police said.
