Warm reception given to new Metropolitans of Jacobite Church

Kottayam, July 8 (UNI) A warm reception was given to the newly- consecrated Metropolitans Mathews Mar Thovedesius, Mathews Mar Aprem, Pathrose Mar Osthathios, Kuriakose Mar Yousebios and Geevarghese Mar Coorilos of the Jacobite Syrian Church here today.

Catholicos Baselios Thomas I presided over the function and Marthoma Metropolitan Philipose Mar Chrisostom inaugurated it.

Former Supreme Court Judge K T Thomas delivered the main discourse.

Metropolitan Thomas Mar Themotheos and other prominent persons felicitated the new Metropolitans.
