WAKT Board Chairman resort to indefinite fast on liquor issue

Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh July 8 (UNI) East Godavari District WAKT Board Chairman Md Karimkhan today commenced his indefinite fast demanding cancellation of wine shop license issued as it is nearer to school and worship place at Gorakshanapeta, in the city.

The residents of the Gorakashanapeta had also expressed their solidarity with the fast leader and ten others also observed relay hunger strike.

The residents complained that it has become nuisance daily to bear with the drunkard and hence the license of the shop is to be cancelled or shifted from the residential areas.
