No property dispute in family, clarifies Nirajan Hiranandani

Mumbai, July 8 (UNI) Noted builder Niranjan Hiranandani, the younger brother of Navin Hiranandani who allegedly committed suicide on Thursday night at his residence in South Mumbai, has denied any property dispute in the family.

Addressing mediapersons here today, Mr Hiranandani said, ''There is no property dispute in the family and we believe that the death of Navin is a suicide.'' Navin was a calm and quiet person, he did not even have many friends in his life, and he only used to spend about two per cent of his earnings, Mr Niranjan said.

He said since Navin had lost the ENT Surgeon Association presidential election last year, he was depressed and had challenged the election in Bombay High Court as he suspected bogus voting. The judgement came against him and he was planning to move the Supreme Court, he added.

Meanwhile, the postmortem report of the deceased is yet to be released.
