Vivus Group to set up a 200 bed Cardiac Care Center in Goa

Bangalore, July 7 (UNI) The Vivus group, leader in cardiac care, hospital management and Health care services, will build a 200 bed state-of-the-art cardiac care center near airport at Goa, Vivus Chairman and Managing Director Dr S S Ramesh said today.

Addressing a press conference here, he said that the Hospital would cater to the needs of the people of Goa and its neighbouring districts of Karnataka including Belgaum, Bijapur and North Karnataka.

He said that the Vivus group, which is extending cardiac care service to various medical institutions in and around Bangalore, proposes to cover six Districts in including Bangalore Rural, Kolar, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore and Coorg. It was also proposed to start Centre in all extensions in Bangalore and set up a ten-bedded cardiac care unit at St Theresa's Hospital in Rajajinagar with TMT, Echocardiagram, Cardiology consultation, 24-hour Emergency and Ambulance facilities, he added.

Dr Ramesh said that capitalizing on the advancement in technology, the Vivus group wants to reach out to the doorstep of the people to provide health care to all at affordable prices. The group has also tied-up with Insurance companies to enable the cardiac health care facilities affordable to all.
